Mobile Today:

Nokia’s marketing chief Simon Lloyd is to leave the business for a job at directory business 118.com.

Simon Lloyd joined Nokia in 2001 from 20th Century Fox, becoming head of marketing in 2004. Along with general marketing Lloyd oversaw Nokia’s sponsorship of ITV show The X Factor as well as a range of other sponsorships.

Lloyd’s move leaves a vacancy at Nokia’s top UK marketing job and the company is actively recruiting for the role.

Just a heads up for all my UK readers.
