Nokia E65: The little things

Most mobile phone reviews online are the same: size, weight, OS, call quality. You don’t really get an accurate portrait of what makes that device unique.

Ed over at E-Series shares what owning an E65 is like after a few weeks. He talks about all the little things that other reviews might have missed. Lots of screen shots, he uses the least amount of words to make a point and it’s a pleasure to read.

What caught my eye is the new active screen:

Nokiae6547

I love it. All that information available at a mere glance is just wicked convenient.

More importantly I can choose what I want to see:

Nokiae6548

What I can’t bear is the fact that the E61i probably has all these features as well. I never realized that the mobile phone industry moves faster than the PC ecosystem that I’ve been entrenched in for most of my life.

My E61 will be ancient by the close of this year.

All hail progress!
