BlueBird’s classic-style PIDION BM-500 smartphone

South Korea-based BlueBird is showcasing its PIDION BM-500, a classic looking CDMA with EVDO Windows Mobile-based smartphone at the CEBIT in Hanover, Germany. The sharp, conservative edges of this device perfectly fit with a strange keypad, which on one side has dial, hang-up, delete and mail keys, as well as 5-way navigation button; and on the other a numerical keys.

In terms of specs, the PIDION BM-500 sports Bluetooth, WLAN and a beautiful 2.8″ touchscreen. What it lacks is a better camera, and the new Windows Mobile 6. I guess the latter could be done with software upgrades, but what about the camera? 1.3 MP sounds so last year. Then again, it’s a business device… (via: Wired)
