Nokia sues Hong Kong shops over N73 clone - NOKIR E828

I know that most of today’s phones looks pretty much the same. We have the brick, clamshell and slider form factors, as well as some specific variations that Nokia uses for its high-end N9x devices. And, let’s don’t forget the Z8’s slider-kicker form factor.
That being said, it’s not strange to find two similar devices. Still, each of the handset manufacturers adds its personal touch to separate its product from the crowd. Or maybe that’s every non-China-based manufacturer…

Anyhow, NOKIR E828 is everything but an original device, and it doesn’t surprises that Nokia is trying to stop the distribution of this N73 clone. The company that made this device even used the Nokia-like font.
According to Softpedia, the Finish handset maker is suing every single shop that sells the Nokir E828. All the shops are asked to submit the existing stock and pay a $3870 fine for the damage incurred. (via: Darla Mack)

[…] The company behind this "project" haven't been able to copy Nokia's unique dual-slider design, so they decided to go for a candybar form factor. In that sense Nokia-N95 looks pretty much the same as N73 clone we've already posted about - NOKIR E828. […]
