CeBIT visitors had a chance to see the solar powered cell phone concept, HTW S116, made by the company called HTW Electronics. The HTW S116 sports an array of solar cells that are used for charging the internal Li-Ion battery. According to HTW Electronics, it takes about 40 minutes of sunshine to charge the battery for 20-25 minutes of talk time.

The HTW S116 will also include a 1.3 MP camera, a QVGA screen and a memory card slot. If this ends up working for the HTW Electronics, I guess the other handset manufacturers will follow.
Now the big news – the HTW S116 will hit the Chinese market within a month! (via: Mad4MobilePhones)

This is really cool if it could be used thoroughly by public.
I hope its coming soon!
