My days with the Nokia N93i are ending, it’s going to be sent back on Monday. One thing that I’ve been experiencing is shutdowns when closing the device.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Nokia N93i, it is a clamshell form factor device. I’m a pretty strong guy, not like Finland’s Jouko Ahola, but pretty powerful none the less. When closing the N93i too forcefully it powers off. I think the battery is dislodging itself temporarily. The weird thing is I can’t reproduce the bug.
This has been happening to me at least every other day since owning the device. I’ve reseated the battery, but that doesn’t help much.
Any of the other N93i testers have similar experiences?
Update: Less than 2 hours after this post I just experienced another shutdown.
