Sidekick 3 Gets OTA Updates From Tmobile

T-mobile (NYSE: DT) will be updating their Sidekick 3 to include its popular new service, myFaves. The changes will be painless and easy and done “over the air” through firmware updates broadcast over their networks. Users will not only get myFaves support, which allows unlimited calling to any 5 numbers in the U.S., but will now be able to call, email, text, or instant message friends directly from their contacts address book. There is also a new text messege counter, so you know how close you are to maxing out that text package, and a new feature that lets you save attached photos to your SK3. So if you get a prompt asking permission for an update, just click “yes,” you’ll be glad you did.
