Solar Powered Cell Phones - The Future Is NOW!

That’s right folks! The future is here! Solar powered cell phones have crossed over from imagination to reality. High Tech Wealth Electronics showed off its S116 cellphone at CeBIT to great fanfare. The device has a built-in solar cell that is capable of charging the battery with 30 minutes worth of juice after just 1 hour in the sun. A full charge can be expected after a 12 hour tanning session
The phone comes with a paltry 1.3 megapixel camera and only supports 900 Mhz and 1800 Mhz bands, so those of us not in Asia will have to wait for the future to come to our country in the near…uh, future.
