Why not let the experts check out the Nokia N95?

DP Review is mecca for digital photographers. I would like to know what they think about the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N95’s image quality.
Can WOM World hook them up?
Please?
Christian Lindholm says the N95 marks the death of pocket cameras. If he is so confident then let us see what the experts have to say.

On that same token: hook up the moderator at headfi with a Nokia N95 and let him tell us what he thinks about the sound quality. That one man owns headphones that cost $1000+ and audio equipment that can make a geek cry in delight.
I love how WOM World gives mobile phones to us bloggers for testing, but if I had a choice between accepting a Nokia N95 for 2 weeks or letting someone like Mobile Review, DP Review or Head Fi publish one of their epic reviews than I would gladly pass.
Knowledge is power and there are people out there much more capable than I am when it comes to product testing. Let us welcome these experts into our discussion.
Update: I was reading DP Review’s review of the Canon PowerShot G7 and look what they took a picture of as an image quality sample. They are already Nokia fans!

dpreview is one of my favorite sites (along with ringnokia of course
) but afaik they don’t review phone cameras? or at least one of a convergence device such as N95?
I’m not asking DP Review to review the N95 as a phone. That would be madness. It would be like asking Arnold Schwarzenegger to review pantyhose.
I just want DP Review to put the photo taking capabilities of the N95 to the test. They are extremely thorough and stringent in their testing.
I figure if Nokia can claim that the N95 can replace a pocket cam then it’s up to the camera experts to test that claim.
Hey! Are you saying I’m not an expert!!!???
Only kidding – obviously, it would be great to see these guys review some of the more interesting features of the N95 – I’d personally love to see someone like DP Review, review the photo aspect of N95. I can handle a bit of competition. (^_^) Bring it on!
In truth, all you need, is an imagination, eyes and ears – that’s it, everything else is just down to having the time. Or put it this way, I read this blog more than I read Mobile Burn, Mobile Review or even Nokia’s own N Series blogs . . . why is that, surely, they are the experts, right? Sometimes, things aren’t always as clear cut as people would like them to be . . .
that’s what i meant, reviewing the “camera” capabilities of phones/convergent devices.
I’m researching on DPR for my next purchase right now
Did Nokia claim that? Or Christian Lindholm who’s not with Nokia when the claim was made?
Christian Lindholm, who is very much not working at Nokia but has a very nice relationship with them said that.
James: I appreciate the compliment
however I still say DP Review has that ora of professionalism that many sites do not.
I have a friend who works for a camera company in downtown Manhattan, all the computers home pages are set to dpreview.com
that says something to me. you’re good too, but not as technical as i like.
I always check out DP Review first, then hang around Amazon for a bit to see what customer reviews I can find, then its over to Flickr for samples – I think the ability to aggregate information from various sources is the beauty of the net.
you summed it up perfectly with that hierarchy.
it’s exactly why i want dpreview to check out the n95. even you just said you go there first.
How about http://www.imaging-resource.com/
People tend to forget this pro site. It’s my reference normally.
