CTIA: Plantronics Expands Bluetooth Lineup With Pulsar 260

Plantronics announced today, during CTIA pre-show activities, that they will debut their new Pulsar 260 bluetooth headset at their CTIA booth (Plantronics booth #1013). The new bluetooth headset will offer both bluetooth headset and bluetooth headphone connectivity through A2DP technology, allowing for both high quality voice calls and music listening in the same pair of pendant style ear-buds.

The Pulsar 260 will be capable of 7 hours of talk or 9 hours of music listening time. Of course these times are for one or the other, and mixed use will prove to decrease both talk and listening time. But when you are listening to music, AVRCP technology will let you control what track to listen to through its standard 3.5mm headphone jack. And an innovative new multi-point jack will allow you to connect to an audio device and a separate mobile phone at the same time.
