Palm announces Treo 750 WM6 update; HSDPA for Cingular/AT&T customers

Palm Treo 750On the 10th anniversary of its Pilot, at the CTIA Wireless in Orlando, Palm (NSDQ: PALM) announced that an update to the Windows Mobile 6 Professional edition will be available for Treo 750 smartphone users around the world.

At the same time, following the launch in Hong Kong, Palm also announced that for Cingular/AT&T (NYSE: T) customers, the update also will facilitate HSDPA capability, allowing faster data-download speeds on 3G/UMTS/HSDPA networks.

It’s nice to see Palm taking care of its loyal customers. Now, Motorola (NYSE: MOT) what are you waiting for? Buy Palm and give us even better Treos. :)
