Palm announces Treo 750 WM6 update; HSDPA for Cingular/AT&T customers

Palm Treo 750On the 10th anniversary of its Pilot, at the CTIA Wireless in Orlando, Palm announced that an update to the Windows Mobile 6 Professional edition will be available for Treo 750 smartphone users around the world.

At the same time, following the launch in Hong Kong, Palm also announced that for Cingular/AT&T customers, the update also will facilitate HSDPA capability, allowing faster data-download speeds on 3G/UMTS/HSDPA networks.
