Philips Xenium NRG Mobile Phone To Use AAA Battery

Philips Xenium phonesPhilips announces their new mobile phone, the Philips Xenium NRG Mobile phone, developed in conjunction with Energizer. The new NRG mobile phone uses BackuPower technology, made possible by Techtium, that allows a dead phone to get a quick power boost with a AAA battery infusion.

The current Philips Xenium mobile phone line (partly pictured above) "already provides a remarkable standby time and talk time of up to 1 month and 10 hours respectively with its built-in battery." But nevertheless, if you find your Philips Xenium NRG phone without a charge, you can use a NiMH or e2 Lithium AAA battery (from Energizer, of course) to pop in a full charge. With that single AAA battery, you can get an extra week of standby time or an additional 3 hours of talk time. Pretty impressive, now Philips just has to get that Xenium brand some more marketing mojo.
