SanDisk introduces 4GB Memory Stick Micro card

SanDisk 4GB Memory Stick Micro cardSanDisk today announced a 4 gig Memory Stick Micro card. Sony Ericsson handset owners should appreciate this news, as now they will be able to hold up to 1,000 songs, 2,000 high-resolution photos or 20 hours of MPEG4 video, on a single card.

The M2 card is format was co-developed by SanDisk and Sony to meet the growing storage needs of highly compact, multimedia mobile phones. M2 measures or 15×12.5×1.2, making it the second smallest flash memory media in the world, behind the microSD format.
