Sanyo SCP-7050 Phone - Military Tough. What bunch of bull. Mine stopped working after about 6 months. I spent 31 yrs in the military and this phone doesn't live up to the hype. Buy yourself a throw away phone that is easily replaced rather then wasting numerous hours and travel trying to get the scp-7050 repaired while losing hundreds of dollars in business.

I spoke with a Sanyo rep about one month ago and he told me that Bell Mobility will be selling this phone, the scp-7050 by the end of June 2007. Anyone heard anything to confirm or deny it?

GPS receivers gather positional data from orbiting GPS satellites. The signals can be used for free, as long as you have a GPS receiver. So, no service plan required

does the 'buit-in gps' mean this phone will work similiar to a handheld gps.
or will some kind of service plan purchase be required.
