Hm, Tamagotchi. It raises some awful memories… But, than again it’s probably me…
Bandai, the company that invented the Tamagotchi, is teaming up with PlayPhone to return to life the once-popular virtual pet toy. The whole concept somehow makes sense, as today’s kids are getting their first cell phones in the first grade (or even earlier). And now, beside making a phone calls, they will have to take care of their new pet-buddy.
Anyhow, the new Tamagotchi phone will be available in retail chains this summer for about $100. (via: PCWorld Blogs)
