If you really believe that, please use the very nice and free OSS browser Nokia provides on all 3rd edition phones. A company like Opera stays in business and produces great *free* products like Opera Mini because they can sell the full version of mobile Opera. Granted $30 is a bit much to pay, but given all the articles I've been reading of late of how cumbersome and *expensive* the signing process is for developers, I'm not surprised that on average applications for Symbian 3rd edition cost much more than their Windows Mobile or Palm counterparts.
