The BBC is set for mobile. The company just announced that its TV and radio channels will be available on compatible mobile phones, starting from April this year.

BBCFor a trial period of 12 months, BBC will syndicate its programming to Vodafone, Orange and 3 networks. Programming includes TV stations BBC One, BBC News 24 and BBC Three, as well as radio stations - Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, 6 Music, BBC 7 and Asian Network.

Still, not all the content will be available on mobile handsets. Users will still have to wait for premiership football, some films and cartoons, and some overseas programmes like Neighbours.
