TI announces new GPS chip

Why do I care? I won’t buy the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Internet Tablet until GPS is built in. Cheaper chips makes that possibility more feasible every day that goes by.
While we’re on the topic of GPS: Dear Google (NSDQ: GOOG), make Google Maps Mobile GPS compatible. Please.
I’ll go one further. My next phone will have GPS. Likely, it will either be from google, run microsoft or run linux.
The tablets seems like yet another in-between device. They can’t replace a laptop and they can’t replace a phone. I carry one phone and one laptop, no more.
