WiFiMobile brings cheap VoIP phone calls to the Nokia S60 smartphone users

WiFiMobile launched a Mobile VoIP service for Symbian smartphones enabling users of the select Nokia (NYSE: NOK) S60 devices to make free calls to each other over Wi-Fi, or by by utilizing a network operator data plan.
With the basic service, users can call other VOIP users completely for free. A premium service is also available that permits calls to be made to ordinary landlines or mobile phones at heavily discounted costs. Configuration is a automated and all it requires is that a user enters his phone number on the WiFiMobile’s site.
Corporate users could also use the new service, as they can immediately use certain Nokia S60 handsets as an extension to their corporate IP PBX. This allows IT/Telecom Managers to carefully control their company’s forever escalating mobile phone costs.
