Nokia’s affordable GPS-enabled device is set to hit the U.S. market, following a recent approval of the Nokia 6110 Navigator by the FCC. The release date of the upcoming smartphone is still not known, but I guess we could expect to see it on the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Flagship Stores’ shelves within a month or so.
The Nokia 6110 Navigator is the Finish giant’s answer to the growing demand for the location-aware devices. The new device runs S60 UI on top of Symbian OS v9.2, allowing users to additionally power-up their device by installing any of the growing number of available apps.
In a nutshell, if you’re in a need for a device with an integrated GPS, you should strongly consider waiting for the Nokia 6110 Navigator. (via: MobileWhack)
