The truth about Eldar

I got some troubling emails and comments when I posted Mobile Review’s N95 review.
Listen, just because he likes to point out the negative aspects of devices doesn’t mean he is biased. He wouldn’t put the effort into writing the detailed reviews he so frequently publishes if it wasn’t for his love of mobile products. Period.
I bash Nokia (NYSE: NOK) all the time on my site. It isn’t because I dislike them, it’s because I hold them to such a higher standard than any other mobile phone manufacturer. Over a third of all the phones sold last year were made by Nokia. That doesn’t just happen out of sheer luck. They are truly an innovative company whom I greatly admire, I just like throwing in my 2 cents as to how they can become even better. COUGH threaded sms COUGH.
If you don’t like Eldar then that’s fine. Don’t send me emails however telling me never to link to Mobile Review again. It’s one of my favorite sites on the net.
And one more thing: Never purchase a device after reading only 1 review. That’s just ignorant.

I second your post Stefan! I always read Eldar’s take as well. He’s critical, but that’s good. You always have to take the time to study things yourself.
A lot of things are about personal preferences and therefore the ultimate truth remains, as ever, ususally a moving target.
Was Eldar really angry about your post?
I’m intrested why…
I wasnt angry
Actually, I like or dislike products but not companies. If product is good then I write that it is excellent, if no – then
