We all talk about S60 this, S60 that, but most of the phones Nokia sells still have S40.

Where is the future of that operating system heading?

Is Nokia trying to push S60 devices to lower and lower price points so that S40 can be nothing but a memory?

i have a nokia 6233, s40v3 operated. i’d say, that the OS is rather intelligent than its past successors, it has some shortcuts and tricks that really understands you…plus, it is very easy to use that i’ve became familiar with the OS since day 1. it lacks only one thing: give us an sis emulator, or even smarter applications that run on java, and s40 will be the best…

and btw, LOOSE THE CENTER BUTTON TO UNLOCK THE KEYPAD!! IT IS REALLY ANNOYNING!!!

forgot to say that, s40 is really underestimated and undercredited as an OS. i’d imagine that if there is an s40v4…i believe that it’d be much intelligent… more media support, AND ACTUALLY SUPPORTS REAL MEDIA!!! (as in realplayer media: .rm, .ram and stuff), and less memory usage (or even increase the RAM..)
