T-mobile Wing Flying In To Replace MDA?

T-mobile may be replacing the MDA with another new Windows Mobile smartphone featuring that familiar sliding qwerty keyboard. The T-mobile (NYSE: DT) Wing could take the place of the older and bulkier MDA with some stylish Windows Mobile 6.0 action. The T-mobile Wing rocks that super-slick spring-loaded sliding-keyboard (had enoug hyphens yet?) that brought the HTC P4350 so much praise. And even with rubberized coating changed to blue and the indicator lights on the front face MIA, we can still tell that it’s an HTC Herald in disguise. (although some reports say that it is an HTC Atlas?)
But, the most exciting thing about this alleged new phone from T-mobile is the fact that it will be flossin’ some Windows Mobile 6.0 action! HTC P4350 owners the world over have more reason to anticipate the release of the T-mobile Wing in August 2007.

wow, that looks really nice… if only it were on a decent network. T-Mo in the USA sucks. maybe once they get 3G going out here it’ll be a decent operator again but until then they’re always going to be the econ-line.

But I think (not sure) T-mobile (NYSE: DT) is going to use a 1700Mhz band fro 3G data, so phones will have to support that frequency before they can use 3G on T-mobile

I have had T-Mobile for 2 years now and am extreemly pleased. I have never had a dropped call and their customer service is fantastic. I am getting my Wing today to replace my nokia (NYSE: NOK) 5300 Music Express and can’t wait. After lots of research and playing with the phone I am sure that T-Mobile will come through just fine. Don’t knock T-Mobile

I have had t-mobile from Jan 2001 when it was voice stream. I had wing for from its release date, both me and my wife have one each, love it, t-mobile is the most relaible service period! for the stupid little random places hicks live they complain but we use ours in NYC, Long Island, Albany, NY, South Florida, D.C. EastLansing MI, Paris, France, Moscow, Russia and Central Florida without issue or failure.
