Dusan: That’s it, let’s discuss the stability!

Hey Will, you’re getting hilarious. I like that. But now let’s switch gears and talk about yet another selling point for the Symbian-powered devices – stability.

Windows Mobile cracksBut first let me shortly discuss this rich freak that broke his N95. Yeah I’ve heard people have some problems with GPS. Still, nothing worth crashing the device. As for GPRS, don’t know about that – we’re all on 3G in Europe. Finally, the battery – I admit it was cheap move from Nokia (NYSE: NOK) to pack its worst battery with their flagship smartphone. Kind a lame. Hope they’ll fix that with their future shipments. Of course, you can always purchase the better battery, but that’s not the point here.

Now, let’s turn to stability issues. Will, my friend, just a quick question – how often do you have to turn off your phone because something’s blocked? Once a day? Or you watch your device carefully and have to restart it only every second day? :)

Symbian devices also have this problem. We (Symbian users) have to restart our smartphone once per two weeks, or even less. You see sometimes our powerful cameras interfere with active Bluetooth and WLAN connections, as well as other 6 running applications, and phone blocks. Still, that’s something you can live with, as it’s not happening to often. What’s your take on that man? C’mon spill it out. :)

And now the news. You must be happy to see the WM6 Product Reference Guide released. Also, there are some rumors suggesting that Dell could jump-in for Palm. It’s more likely than not that they would push Windows Mobile rather than Palm (NSDQ: PALM) OS. As for Symbian, we have Nokia Video Manager released, and MOTO RIZR Z8 coming soon.

’till next article. Stay safe, stay stable!
