Motorola’s Smell-O-Phone - Stinky Patent

Motorola smell-o-phone on the wayMotorola filed for a patent back in 2005. Nothing out of the ordinary, until you find out that the patent was for a scent-emitting phone. Now the great news! The “smell-o-phone” patent was recently approved for Motorola (are we the only ones excited?)! Now that the fashion forward mobile phone manufacturer has the green light on the scent-phone, we think that means the US will get to have some stinky fun in the near future. And, by stinky fun, we mean some nice smelling, perfume-themed RIZR’s or something like that. We cringe at the thought of hot dog scented PEBL’s or Aqua Velva smelling Q’s - and you thought that “Sexy Back” ringtone in the next cubicle was annoying.
