Garnet OS-powered devices can use SDHC cardsThese new-fangled SDHC cards pick up where the older SD cards left off. Where SD cards hit a maximum capacity of 2GB, SDHC cards hustle to take expansion to 8GB – and beyond! Great, but you gotta have a compatible expansion slot. Apparently, Palm’s Treo 680 has a “secret” talent – it knows how to read SDHC cards. There are no official statements or documentation that alludes to SDHC compatibility – but Garnet OS-powered devices have been reported to work quite well with SDHC cards. Now, that’s what I call a nice surprise! (Disclaimer: this is an unsupported feature, and should be used with caution. Some people have reported that their cards either quit on them after a short time, or their card’s maximum capacity is not recognized correctly.)
