HTCHTC sure is stretching its legs in the mobile technology arena. With a recent move to market their previously re-branded Windows Mobile smartphones under their own brand, HTC is looking to expand their hold on the mobile industry with production of 3.5G wireless broadband cards and adaptors. HTC’s subsidiary, BandRich will start production on the BandLuxe C100 3.5G data card. The card is meant for notebooks and will provide throughput at around 7.2Mbps, for those lucky enough to have an ExpressCard slot. If you didn’t get one of those new-fangled ExpressCard slots in your machine, you can always use the adaptor case for use as a 3.5G wireless broadband USB adaptor (the pics show the conversion). $265 buys you a ticket to the 3.5G game.
