Remember the Wellness Diary, Sports Tracker and Widsets? In a style similar to Google Labs, which is a sand box for new ideas, Nokia launched "Nokia Beta Labs" today. Tommi has the details.

I hope this is the start of something big. Nokia is connecting with the enthusiast S60 users out there and asking them to try out products that will eventually be released to a mass audience.

Right now there are only 4 applications with 1 coming soon, but hopefully these numbers will increase. I would love to see a dedicated wiki or forum where users can discuss these beta applications and can submit ideas for Nokia to consider working on. Submitting a feedback form seems boring. I’m also wondering why Beta Labs and the S60 Wishlist aren’t merged together into one environment.

It makes sense to me, what about you guys?

The RSS feed is also a nice touch, but my browser doesn’t auto detect it. I have to click on that big RSS button.
