Nokia to sell WiMax phones in early 2008

By Stefan Constantinescu on Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 at 12:04 AM PST In Financial/Corporate News

That’s the scoop over at Extreme Tech.

I wonder if these devices will be as high end as the current E and N series collections or something a little bit more … low end.

How will WiMax work? Will it use something similar to SIM cards?

Stefan, Wi-Max is still on development and is unknown if the users will need SIM cards or something similar. I believe – because I’ve heard a lot of guys from Intel saying – that Wi-Max will use antennas all over the cities for coverage, as is used today in cell phones (more like CDMA, maybe?). Great blog, by the way.
