It’s A Drink Coaster, It’s A Frisbee, It’s A… ‘Radia’ Cellphone? – Interesting Circular Disc Concept Phone

Nope, it’s not a drink coaster, it’s actually a new cellphone concept from the mind of Michael Laut. The “Radia” concept is a refreshing take on cell phone design. There’s no candy-bar, slider, or flip form-factor here. With a minimalistic and simplified design, the palm (NSDQ: PALM)-sized disc features a brushed aluminum outer ring and a touchscreen display. Power button and speaker flank each other on the outer rim and the microphone is one the opposite side of the ring. File this one under “why-didn’t-we-think-of-this-sooner.” (Check the pics…)
