T-mobile “Wing” Released Pushed Up To May – Loses Name Along The Way

We didn’t think the name of T-mobile (NYSE: DT)’s upcoming version of the HTC Herald – the Wing – was all that bad. But, rumors are flying that the upper echelons at T-mobile didn’t think too fondly of the name. T-mobile will be changing the name of the phone and…wait for it…pushing up the launch date! The WM6.0 Pocket PC phone is rumored to be released on May27, for about $250 with a two-year sentence contract. Wow, we thought we were going to have to wait until August for this thing to launch, but pressure from Sprint (NYSE: S) and Verizon (NYSE: VZ)’s latest offerings seems to have shortened our anticipation. As rumors go, don’t hold your breath.
