Palm Treo 700p users can expect a system software update come MaySteve Sinclair, Treo Product Manager, posted information on his blog about an upcoming software update for the Palm Treo. The update is undergoing carrier certification and should be released, post-haste, for the Treo 700p. Given the current status of the update, Sinclair estimates that the software update will be available during the week of May 28 – barring any unforeseen network compatibility problems, of course.

The system software update has been promised to Treo 700p users for months now. We can expect the update to fix the much-lamented Bluetooth wireless networking bugs, SMS performance, MP3 playback, and application launch speed.
