Downloading Ubuntu as I type this. 54 minutes 11 seconds remaining.
I’m pushing my data out to an external hard drive.

Slackware! Really?
So tired of ubuntu i am! Cant get it to work and support in forums in alot of jargon like “get apt noapic nosmp” with info on how to do those things. i wanted to try it, i was looking forward to it but i’m just frustrated and its eating into my work time.
now i have a 21GB partition taking up space and Grub screwing up my boot screen. The later makes it hard to leave the computer to reboot without it going to a dead ubuntu boot up.
sigh …… i’ll try the alternates and see what happens.
