Samsung Ultra Video F500 passes the FCC hurdle

By Dusan Belic on Monday, April 23rd, 2007 at 4:19 AM PST In Devices, Samsung

DivX certified Samsung Ultra Video F500, also known as UpStage’s big brother, just got the FCC’s seal of approval. This means that Samsung’s cool-looking member of the Ultra family is about to hit the cellphone store shelves in the States. If some carrier picks it up, it will most probably be either Cingular or T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) as FCC listing suggest a GSM only version. Hopefully, Samsung will soon follow with a CDMA version and other carriers will pick it up as well.
