LG developing force feedback technology to rock your phone along with mobile tv actionLG is developing technology that would enable Mobile TV viewers to actually feel the action through a force-feedback system built into the phone. The vibrations would be cued through embedded data in the mobile TV stream - even live digital TV broadcasts. When a car crashes, or a bomb explodes, the phone will actually vibrate with the action. LG is also planning to use LED lights to enhance the viewing experience, similar to Philip's AmbiLight technology.

There are still some negotiation moves and shakes (excuse the pun) needed before LG's first expected shipment, sometime in 2008. Being a mobile TV tech, this one's gonna be a Korean exclusive - who woulda thought? Life sure is good for them South Koreans.
