Mobile banking is coming whether we want it or not. According to the latest study conducted by Jupiter Research there isn’t a real consumer demand for such services, it’s the banks and financial institutions that desire to expand their relationships to the mobile channel. Furthermore, Jupiter’s research numbers suggest that only 8% of U.S. respondents were interested in mobile banking services. That sounds pretty insignificant, but I guess we could expect to see that number growing in the coming months as banks and carriers push this channel to consumers with some additional benefits.
