Sitting in a room with airport security

By Stefan Constantinescu on Thursday, April 26th, 2007 at 2:59 PM PST In Random

I don’t understand. Moving wine from Spain to Florida is no problem, but moving it from Florida to Texas is.

I’m not a criminal and I hope I don’t miss my fight.

This is madness.

Lol.. I think you just had a funny Freudian slip.. you say “I hope I don’t miss my fight” :) I know, just a typo, but I can imagine your blood was boiling and you just wanted to punch something!

Take some pics of the DHS officers with your new E61i. You may as well…

The video in the E61i/E65 is great quality for that kind of camera. I bought an E65 last month as a bakcup phone and was astounded by its video quality. Wasn’t too impressed with the photos though…

As a foreign resident in the US, especially one from Pakistan, I get to visit with the DHS schmucks every time I leave and re-enter the US, which is a pain since I travel quite a bit. But I have learned that a pleasant smile and polite jokes go a long way in expediting my ‘processing’, despite the prehensile belief that I might turn into a terrorist randomly at any given moment, simply because I am from a Muslim country. I’ve managed to cut down processing time to under 10 min actually :) Used to be over 40 mins at one point, and once i was stuck for 2 hours just waitinggggggggggggg for someone to show up to interview me :P

But in retrospect, I too would have wanted to break sh*t as a 20 yr old college student =D

  5. Oh I definitely wanted to punch a hole in the wall. Didn’t think that would be appropriate to blog.

    Now you know ;-)
