Mobile game to help international students in the UKMoving from other country for studying in the UK can cause a culture shock. That was at least the case with Nipan Maniar, the guy who came from India to study at the University of Portsmouth in Britain. Nipan came up with an idea to develop a mobile game for people like him, to help them fit better in the new society.

In the game called C-Shock, the main character is an international student who has just arrived in the UK for the very first time. The objective of the game is to reduce the characters culture shock rating from the default 100 to zero by performing a series of tasks that introduce culture shock-inducing incidents and images, including such moments as going to the pub and public displays of affection.

C-Shock is in its final stages of development, and is expected to be available for download from the University of Portsmouth website later in the year. (via: MobileWhack)
