There’s a new Moto RAZR! It’s Purple, and it’s the RAZR V3i in Purple. Yes, we said “new”. No, nothing’s changed. Yes, we said Purple. If the current gamut of Silver Quartz, Gunmetal Grey, Gold Plate, Dark Blue, Maroon, Violet, Orchid, Black (PRODUCT)RED , Platinum colors just didn’t do it for you, now there’s Purple (Mother’s Day is just around the corner, guys)! The specs are the familiar 1.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, iTunes player, and TransFlash. And, as it goes with new color variants, expect to shell out a little extra – $239Â extra, to be precise (with a discount for buying two phones).

Just hit the link at the end of the post to goto the Moto Store. The Purple V3i is only available online and will work with any GSM carrier (Cingular/AT&T, Alltel, Tmobile, etc)

Ignorant girl. Obviously she isn’t a girly girl or she would KNOW why people would buy a phone b/c it’s purple.
That’s the only reason why I bought it. My friend bought hers b/c it was pink. My husband his because it was silver. Jeez!!

Just go to a third-party (independant) wireless store and negotiate with them. You know, those stores that offer phones for all different kinds of carriers – Verizon, Sprint, Tmobile, Helio.
Walk in there, tell them you want the Pink Razor for free on two year contract. Chances are, they will oblige you – they make huge commissions on new contracts, so they can afford to give you the phone for free.
Go at the end of the month to try and get better deals – these independent dealers have to meet a quota to continue operating at a certain priority level with the carrier.
Ugh…. i want that phone , please tell me were you got it i’ve been looking for that every were !!

I luv this new phone I just asked for it as a gift from my husband. But when I told him for how much.eeekkkk. It isnt anything new or special about it except for its color. I dont understand. I guess I will just have to wait for another 2 years for a better price.
If you are out of contract, you can try to get a discount at your local third-party wireless dealer by signing a new contract. The independent shops (the ones that offer phones for a variety of carriers) have the ability to give up part of their commission to subsidize a handset purchase. Work out a “special order” deal with them. Don’t go into the chains like Best Buy, find the little “mom and pop” shops in your neighborhood, they will be more likely to negotiate.
i knew if i bought a pink razr they would come out w/ the purple on e shortly after! i really wish i had mmore patience! why so much though, do u get a discount if we extend our contract?
This is definitly a great idea. Purple is so stylin. I adore this phone.
I wanted to get this phone because it’s my favorite color. My carrier is Cingular/AT&T and a rep for the company advised that if you have a problem with the phone they will not be able to repair because these phones sometimes do not work well with the network. Has anyone with this carrier purchased the phone and had any problems?

OMG purple is the absolute best color in the world. I AM HAPPY TO SEE I AM NOT THE ONLY PURPLE NUTT IN THE WORLD. I was waiting for purple, don’t know why it took so long. They should offer it in even more colors. I just can’t find a carrier that carries the phone. I only found it on motorola.com. A little too expensive.
