Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the possibility, but as per Nokia, it is not possible to install the previous version from any current version of the firmware. Today morning I realized that the "Power Saver" mode was not functioning even though the settings were right. I removed the battery and restarted the same. Now the Power Saver mode is working. I hope this will improve the battery life. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

The easiest solution might just be to flash the firmware back to the original, or previous version.

I updated my E70-RM-10 with the latest 3.0633.09.04 few weeks back. But now it seems that my battery doesn't last even a day. Tried all tricks including Network to "GSM", WLAN to "Never", Display light to min. Does anyone have any ideas to improve the battery life?

I've updated mine E70 R-10 3 days ago.
Update with no problem, to version 3.0633.09.04 or sth.
Haven't dig into the phone menus etc yet, as I have no time for that, but works without any problems.
