MiTAC prep its Mio A501 Digi Walker phone for releaseMiTAC, makers of the sexy, if buggy and limited, A701 Windows Mobile Pocket PC phone, are prepping to release their Mio A501 as part of their Digi-Walker line. The new phone is compact enough to easily fit in your hand (95.7mm X 59.6mm X 20.7mm) but only comes packin’ Windows Mobile 5.0 AKU 3.5 – running on a TI OMAP 850 CPU clocked at 201Mhz. And the fact that the Mio A501 eschews any 3G or WiFi connectivity for a lowly GPS receiver isn’t anything to talk about either. Still, you do get EDGE data, a 2 megapixel camera, and Bluetooth 2.0. All in all, we can find better ways to spend about $675, come this June.

We got a couple more pics for you guys, after the link….
