Apple iPhone gets a Release Date - June 15?

We have official confirmation that the iPhone will ship “late June,” but exactly when in June is still speculation. Still, the latest rumor/announcement, regarding the hotness that is the Apple iPhone, pegs the release date at June 15th. But, this rumor has some teeth to it. BGR got their mitts on an alleged memo, sent to AT&T employees, stating that there will be no vacations allowed between the June 15th launch and the end of the launch period on July 15th. The boys at BGR are usually on-point with information like this, so we’ll follow suit and update our expected launch date to June 15.
Expect crazed masses to hit Cingular/AT&T and Apple retail stores June 15th, until we hear otherwise…

PocketNow is saying that an "industry source" said that the Blackjack won't be getting the WM6 upgrade until after June. What's taking AT&T so darn long to get this WM6 upgrade out to users? We have no idea, but you can get still get some update-satisfaction with that WM5 ROM update from Samsung. Keep your hopes up, Blackjack owners, Q3 will roll around faster than you think (or you can just jump ship and grab an Apple iPhone in June). [...]
