BenQ Patent for phone that tells you how FAT you are

BenQ has filed for a patent application outlining the details for a phone that can measure your body fat percentage. Apparently, the company is working under the assumption that people want to be constantly reminded of those late-night pizza and taco runs. The Body-Fat-Phone measures your body’s electrical resistance to calculate how fat you are. If you just gotta know how fat you are, grab a hold of the two electrodes that are built-in to the phone and let the body-fat measuring circuitry do its thing. We can’t imagine this feature actually helping to push a significant volume of handsets, but it sure is an interesting add-on.
