Nokia market share has dropped in India

Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s share of the Indian market has reportedly fallen from 80% of monthly handset sales last year to about two-thirds at present.
Sony and Motorola (NYSE: MOT) are catching up. Could it be because they offer cheaper devices or their styles are more appealing to the region?
Nokia devices look very Northern European: sparse, functional and built tough. Japenese phones on the other hand look futuristic and sexy.
Call me a blasphemerm but I think the new Sony K810i looks better than the N73. The Walkman line stomps on Nokia’s XpressMusic series and let us not forget about Motorola’s wicked design team.
