Palm Treo 755p officially announced

By Dusan Belic on Wednesday, May 9th, 2007 at 2:23 AM PST In Announcements, Devices, Palm, Palm OS, Sprint

We’ve knew this is coming. The latest Palm (NSDQ: PALM) OS-based Treo is here – 755p. The new Palm’s smartphone is powered by 321MHz XScale processor and runs on Palm OS 5.4.9. In terms of specs, the Treo 755p boasts a 320×320 screen, 120 MB RAM, miniSD memory card slot (up to 4GB), and a 1600mAh Li-Ion battery. What I was hoping to see was a better camera (the 755p still has 1.3 MP), as well as the support for the Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity (instead of v1.2). Still, with the built-in EV-DO Rev. 0 support, Garnet fans have a new device to look forward to once they pay $279.99 for it with Sprint (NYSE: S)’s service agreement.
