Sprint PPC-6800 gets

Sprint delays the PPC-6800 until October and renames it as the Sprint MogulIn a fit of schizophrenic indecision, Sprint (NYSE: S) has decided to delay the release of the HTC Titan, rebranded as the Sprint PPC-6800, and now renamed to the Sprint Mogul. Confused yet? Sprint’s variant of the HTC Titan was expected to be released on the CDMA carrier’s network as the Sprint PPC-6800, but will instead be launched as the Sprint Mogul. While we’re used to HTC’s handsets being renamed by carrier prerogative, Sprint’s thrown us for a loop with their double-whammy launch delay and handset renaming. To top it all off, and hopefully keep your interest piqued for a few more months, Sprint has launched a teaser site for the “Mission: Possible” Sprint Mogul. Look for the new Sprint Mogul in October, complete with EVDO Rev. A and Windows Mobile 6!
