The first shots of the upcoming Motorola V9m (pictured right) have appeared. Apparently, the successor of the popular MOTO RAZR phone, also known as LAZR or RAZR 2, is heading to Verizon Wireless — meaning this will be a CDMA handset. The new V9m will sport a touchscreen coupled with a familiar BREW’s UI with Flash interface. Earlier reports indicated that next RAZR will run on Linux, but as we know now, it ain’t gonna happen… (via: NewLaunches)

Any specs? I havent seen many KRZR’s so I cant really get a good understanding of how it scales up. It would have been nicer if they compared it to the RAZR, I see about a billion of those everyday.

Looks about the same size as the Razr

Tom is right, it is roughly the same size as the V3 RAZR. However, the V9 RAZR was compared to the KRZR because the V9 RAZR (RAZR2) is taller and narrower than the V3 RAZR – just like the KRZR.

The V9 RAZR is about 5mm taller, 2mm narrower, and, most importantly, about 2mm slimmer!

Looks like the razr 2 is longer. Wish phones would be about 3/4 of an inch shorter. Their becoming too long, my opinion of course. Would think wih technology that this could be accomplished.
