Always well-informed BoyGenius brings us a new tidbit of information about the next BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Pearl. Apparently, the new device will be called BlackBerry 8120, and will hit the shelves somewhere in September this year. Furthermore, the 8120 will be available in “at least 3 or 4 new color choices.” The best thing about it is that it will feature a better, 2 MP camera, a built-in GPS and WiFi connectivity.

It seems that Rogers (NYSE: RCI) in Canada will be launching the updated Pearl in September, with a U.S. carrier (T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)?) getting a “one week jumpstart.”
