The problem as I see it is that these ports are not suitable for docking stations. My 9500 very easily plugs into a docking station - all I need to do is drop it in. This gives me full USB functionalty AND charging. I have 1 dock at work & 1 at home & always know where my phone is if not in my pocket.

Although these new USB ports might allow for charging & USB, they are not usually in a sensible place for a docking station, and even if they were on the bottom I fear that the connector might not survive unless the alignment was perfect.

My wife's N95 (bought after reading about it here) didn't come with any docking station & I would imagine if one comes out it will require manual plugging in of 2 cables & look pretty messy.

All I want is some nice docking station arrangement where I can just drop my phone in at home, work & in my car & get it chrged & connected.
